Indian president to attend Victory Day celebrations in Moscow

Indian President Pranab Mukherjee will attend the Victory Day celebration in Moscow when he visits Russia starting Thursday, said an Indian official Wednesday.

Mukherjee will participate in the celebrations of Russian Victory Day, which marks the country's victory in the Second World War, Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar told media here.

Mukherjee will also hold bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He will meet top officials of Russian universities and witness the signing of nine agreements with Russia in the field of science and technology as well as higher education. Endi
