Thailand secured its first win at the 2015 AFF Women's Championship, trouncing Indonesia 10-1 in a Group A match on Sunday evening in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City, with Thai players netting 5 times in each half.

Five minutes into the game, picking up a cross from her teammate, Thai 25-year-old striker Nisa Romyen opened the score by a strong header. Later, it was Nisa that delivered a tactful cross for Thai 29-year-old defender Anoosara Maijarern to make the second goal for her team.

In the 37th minute, defender Anoosara netted the second time in the game. Two minutes later, striker Nisa extended the lead to 4-0 for Thailand. Right before the break, Nisa made her hat-trick, giving her squad the lead of 5-0.

After the break, Thai players continued to steamroll their Indonesian rivals, with the 6th goal by mid-fielder Pikul Khueanpet in the 53rd minute, the 7th goal by another Thai mid-fielder Wilaiporn Boothduang in the 59th minute, the 8th goal by striker Alisa Rukpinij in the 66th minute, the 9th goal by mid-fielder Naphat Seesraum in the 72nd minute, and the 10th goal by striker Orathai Srimanee in the 87th minute.

In the 82nd minute, Indonesian mid-fielder Erma Novela Karafir made the only consolation goal for her team.
