Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz

on Wednesday relieved his younger half brother, Muqrin, from his duties as crown prince and first deputy prime minister, while appointing his nephew, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, as the new crown prince, local media reported.

The King also appointed his son, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as

deputy crown prince, and replaced foreign minister Prince Saud al-Faisal with the kingdom's Washington ambassador Adel al-Jubeir, the state television said. Endi
