Australian share market sluggish at Wednesday's opening

The week's lack-luster Australian share market trading continued at the opening on Wednesday.

At the official market opening, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was 11.2 points or 0.19 percent lower at 5,937.3 points, while the broader All Ordinaries index was down 10.1 points, or 0.17 percent, at 5,911.4.

Health care stocks lost 0.68 percent, while consumer staples shed 0.59 percent as a sector.

Woolworths lost 0.97 percent and Wesfarmers 0.25 percent.

In banking, ANZ lost 0.01 percent while the Commonwealth Bank fell 0.05 percent and the National Australia Bank retreated 0.47 percent. Westpac dipped 0.16 percent. Endi
