China stocks open lower Wednesday

Chinese stocks opened lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 30.1 points, or 0.67 percent, to open at 4,446.12.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 14,669.22, down 38.03 points, or 0.26 percent.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 5.51 points or 0.21 percent higher at 2,693.48 points. Endi
