U.S. stocks reversed early gains to end lower on Monday, with the Nasdaq Composite Index snapping a five-day winning streak, as investors were awaiting the Federal Reserve's two-day meeting started Tuesday.

The Dow fell over 0.2 percent, and the S&P 500 lost 0.4 percent, while the Nasdaq was down 0.6 percent. Endite
