Cold front to sweep north China

A cold front will sweep north China in the coming two days, bringing temperature drops along the way, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) forecast on Thursday.

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and most parts in northeast China will see temperature drop by 4 degrees Celsius to 6 degrees Celsius, accompanied by winds of up to level 6, according to the NMC.

Parts of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will also see floating dust and sand during the period, the NMC added.

Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rain will hit Yunnan, Sichuan and Hainan province, as well as Guangxi and Tibet autonomous regions in the coming three days. Endi
