China stocks open higher Thursday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 15.99 points, or 0.36 percent, to open at 4,414.48.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 14,842.2, up 93.07 points, or 0.63 percent.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 21.25 points or 0.81 percent higher at 2,656.18 points. Endi
