One soldier killed in armed confrontation in Tunisia

One Tunisian soldier was killed Wednesday during an armed confrontation between the national army and a group of terrorists in midwest of the country, according to Tunisian radio Mosaique FM.

Following a sweeping operation triggered by intelligence information, a patrol tracked down on a group of militants on Seloum mountain in Kasserine.

The Ministry of Defense spokesperson Belhassan Weslati confirmed the confrontation while not mentioning the number of casualties. Endit
