Indonesia, Myanmar agree to boost cooperation on economy, investment

Indonesia and Myanmar agreed on Wednesday to strengthen their mutually beneficial partnership in the areas of economy and investment.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo and his Myanmar counterpart U Thein Sein have vowed to boost the partnership on the sidelines of the Asian-African Summit.
Representatives said the cooperation has been carefully and rigorously reviewed to ensure the achievement of development goals and national priorities of both countries.
The UNDP has been committed to providing high-quality and timely development services to Indonesia and Myanmar.
On Sept. 28, 2012, the UNDP, Indonesia and Myanmar agreed to strengthen cooperation in promoting South-South and Triangular Cooperation as an effective tool for addressing the challenges faced by developing countries in achieving sustainable development. Endi
