Iceland's wage index records 0.3 pct increase in March

Iceland's wage index reported a month-on-month increase of 0.3 percent in March 2015, according to Statistics Iceland on Wednesday.

The figures showed that the wage index in March was 502.1, an increase of 0.3 percent compared with 500.8 in February. The index takes the wage in December 1988 as base number of 100.

In the past 12 months, the monthly wage index has increased by 5.6 percent.

The real wage index in March was 120.4, an decrease of 0.8 percent compared with that of the previous month.

In the past 12 months, the real wage has increased by 4.0 percent. Enditem
