Spanish stock market rises 0.22 pct, closes at 11,384 points

Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.22 percent on Monday to close at 11,384.60 points, up from the 11,359.40 points of Friday.

IAG shares led rises climbing 1.24 percent, followed by Caixabank, Sacyr, DIA, Tecnicas Reunidas and Gamesa that rose 1.15 percent, 1.11 percent, 1.07 percent, 1.06 percent and 0.85 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Mapfre shares led falls losing 2.34 percent, followed by FCC, Grifols, Bankinter, Endesa and Acciona that lost 0.82 percent, 0.62 percent, 0.52 percent, 0.48 percent and 0.28 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spanish risk premium stood at 139.5 points on Monday closing time while Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.469 percent. Endit
