FBI arrests six for connection with IS: report

Six people in the U.S. states of Minnesota and California have been arrested bt the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for connection with a terrorism investigation on the Islamic State forces, local media reported on Monday.

According to a CNN report, the arrests were made on Sunday in Minneapolis and San Diego and there is no direct threat to public safety.

In recent months, FBI investigators have tracked on what they believe is a terror recruitment network focused on the Somali community in the Minneapolis area, said the report.

The U.S. attorney's Office and the FBI planned a news conference later Monday to announce more details about the case. Endi
