Xinhua, April 20, 2015 Adjust font size:

Seven persons, all civilians, sustained injuries as a bomb blast rocked the northern Kunduz provincial capital Kunduz city 250 km north of Kabul on Monday, police spokesman in the province, Sayed Sarwar Hussaini said.

"A sticky bomb attached on a police vehicle exploded at around 04:30 p.m. local time today in Kunduz city, leaving seven passersby including two women injured," Hussaini told Xinhua.

No police personnel have been hurt in the blast, he asserted.

However, eye witnesses at the site of the blast said that two police constables were also injured in the violent incident.

Meantime, the official attributed the attack to the enemies of peace, a reference to the Taliban armed group.

The Taliban outfit fighting the government has yet to claim responsibility for the bombing. Endi
