Child killed, 7 injured in building collapse in Indian capital

Xinhua, April 17, 2015 Adjust font size:

A four-year-old child died while seven others were injured when a building under construction collapsed on Thursday evening in the Indian capital, said police.

The incident took place in the Najafgarh area of west Delhi, trapping eight people of a family in the debris of the building.

Police rescued the injured from the debris and sent them to hospital.

Building collapse takes place regularly in Indian cities due to illegal construction, bad conditions of buildings and lack of enough security surveillance. Endi
