Hoffenheim boss Gisdol extends contract for 2 years

Xinhua, April 16, 2015 Adjust font size:

Hoffenheim head coach Markus Gisdol has agreed a two year contract extension with the club sitting at the seventh at the German Bundesliga table ahead of the visit to Munich this weekend.

"It was an easy decision, we've made giant strides in the past two years and I see huge potential," said the 47-year-old.

Gisdol became Hoffenheim boss in April 2013 and salvaged the team from relegation after play-offs and guided the club to the Europa League with the ninth ranking last season.

Hoffenheim have collected 37 points from 28 league games this season, four points behind 5th placed Schalke 04 before playing Bayern Munich. Endit
