Indian stocks close lower

Indian stocks closed lower on Wednesday, breaking the seven-day winning streak on profit-booking in the late trade.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 28,799.69, 244.75 points or 0.84 percent down from previous close of 29,044.44.

About 1376 shares have advanced, 1492 shares declined, and 151 shares are unchanged on the BSE. Endi
