Xinhua, April 15, 2015 Adjust font size:

Indian authorities Wednesday arrested a Peruvian national at Delhi airport for carrying cocaine worth millions of dollars.

"The 63-year-old Peruvian national was arrested after routing screening of his luggage revealed that 1,300 grams of pure cocaine were concealed in the cavities of his bag. He has been identified as Lopez Reyes," a senior police official said, on condition of anonymity.

The Peruvian national is being interrogated by anti-narcotics sleuths, he said.

This is one of the biggest hauls of cocaine in recent times, the official added. Endi
