Xinhua, April 15, 2015 Adjust font size:

Tokyo shares opened lower as selling offset buying after recent rallies, and a stronger yen also weighed on export-oriented shares.

At 9:15 a.m., the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 44.60 points, or 0.22 percent, from Tuesday to 19,864.08.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 3.19 points, or 0.20 percent, to 1, 587.63. Endi
