U.S. President Barack Obama on Tuesday told Congress his intent to remove Cuba from the list of state sponsors of terrorism, the White House said.

WASHINGTON -- A Senate panel on Tuesday approved a bill demanding a congressional review of any nuclear deal the Obama administration inks with Iran by the end of June.

WASHINGTON -- The United States on Tuesday imposed sanctions on the leader of the Houthi rebels in Yemen and a son of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh for allegedly supporting the rebels.
The Department of Treasury targeted Abdul Malik al-Houthi, whose Shiite Houthi movement has overrun much of Yemen in the past few months, including the capital city of Sanaa, and Ahmed Ali Saleh, former head of Yemen's Republican Guard and "a key supporter" of the Houthis. (US-Yemen-Sanctions)

JERUSALEM -- For the first time since 2000, Israel would allow Palestinian vehicles to enter its territory, Israel's Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) said Tuesday.
