At least 31 people were killed and 9 seriously injured after a bus burst into flames in Morocco early on Friday, local authorities said.

The accident occurred at 7 a.m. local time when the bus hit a truck about 40 kms from Layoune city (1,200 kms south of capital Rabat).

The Moroccan radio reported earlier that more than 40 people were killed. Endit
