Vietnamese Communist Party leader concludes China visit

Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, left Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province on Friday afternoon, ending a four-day visit to China.

Trong was invited by Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is also the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. This is his second visit to China since taking office in 2011.

During his time in Beijing, Trong held talks with Xi, and met with Premier Li Keqiang, top legislator Zhang Dejiang and top political advisor Yu Zhengsheng.

The two sides released a China-Vietnam joint communique on Wednesday. Endi
