Xinhua, April 10, 2015 Adjust font size:

A new version of China's official drug control website, nncc626.com, went live Friday offering more user friendly content.

The first official drug control website was launched on June 26, 2014, and coincided with International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

The new website includes details on laws and government policies, news of drug-related crimes, as well as new additions including heroes in the war against drugs.

The website is jointly operated by the China National Narcotics Control Commission, China Narcotics Control Foundation and Xinhua News Agency.

Police arrested more than 168,000 narcotic-crime suspects in 2014, and seized nearly 70 tonnes of drugs, including 25.9 tonnes of methamphetamine and 9.3 tonnes of heroin, according to a report on the website. Endi
