Chinese authorities have created an account on popular microblogging platform Sina Weibo account to provide information on crackdowns on pornography and illegal publications.

The National Anti-Pornography and Anti-Illegal Publications Office has launched campaigns to regulate the children's publishing market, targeting online videos, video games, novels and cartoons that contain pornographic, violent or superstitious content.

Internet users are encouraged to take photos of such illegal publications and post them on Sina Weibo, said the office, adding all public tip-offs will be dealt with. Endi
