Xinhua, April 6, 2015 Adjust font size:

Indonesia has put a target of 5 gold medals at the 10th South East Asia (SEA) Youth Athletic Championships 2015 in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia from April 11-12, a trainer said here on Monday.

Alex Resmol, trainer for mid-distance running, disclosed that the gold medals were expected from women's 400m, women's 800m, discus throwing and palmyra hammerhead.

"Last year when we participated in SEA Youth in Myamar we got gold medals, and this year, as pour preparation is better than that of last year we put the target to 5 gold medals," he said at the athletic association office.

Indonesia is to send 14 athletes to the championship in Kuala Lumpur, according to the Indonesian Athletic Association.

The athletes are to depart to Malaysia on April 9, according to the trainer. Endit
