Japan's SDF helicopter makes crash landing, no injuries

A helicopter belonging to Japan's Ground Self-Defense Forces (GSDF) on Monday made a crash landing in rice field in Sendai in northeast Japan without any injuries, according to local media.

The chopper was on a test flight after regular checks at the GSDF Kasuminome air field, said local report, adding the aircraft' s main rotor was bent and its tail rotor fell off after the crash landing.

The accident took place at around 10 a.m. local time. Two crew members were on board and they are safe right now, said the Japan' s Defense Ministry. Endi
