Tornado kills 3, injures 5 in Myanmar northernmost state

Three people were killed and five others injured as tornado hit two villages in Phakant, Myanmar's northernmost Kachin state, local media reported Monday.

The tornado struck the villages and surrounding areas of Phakant on Sunday morning, damaging some buildings and a school, said the 7-Day News.

Strong wind and thundering have reportedly hit the Kachin state these days. Endi
