Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday declared three days of national mourning during which the country's flag shall fly at half-mast, following Thursday's Garissa terror attack.

BRATISLAVA -- The only alternative to achieve a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine is to observe Minsk agreement, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a press conference here on Saturday.

MOSCOW -- Two Russian Il-62 planes are heading for Moscow Saturday carrying over 300 evacuees from Yemen, local media reported.
The exact landing time is not specified.
Besides about 70 Russian nationals, the planes also helped over 200 people flee the conflict-torn country, including citizens from countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Cuba, Egypt and Syria, according to Russian Embassy in Yemen. (Russia-Yemen-Evacuation)

NEW DELHI -- Amidst heavy shelling in the Yemeni port Aden, India evacuated on Saturday 439 of its nationals to the naval ship INS Mumbai anchored off the coast by ferrying the people in small batches on boat to the ship, said the Indian navy.
India has also helped pull out some nationals from Bangladesh, Djibouti, Nepal, Pakistan and Uganda from the strife-torn country, according to the ministry of external affairs. (India-Yemen-Evacuation)
