Guerrero hits hat-trick as Corinthians rout Danubio

Xinhua, April 2, 2015 Adjust font size:

Paolo Guerrero struck a hat-trick as Corinthians beat Uruguay's Danubio 4-0 in their Copa Libertadores group match on Wednesday.

The Peru international striker scored a first half header before adding another two goals from close range after halftime at Arena Corinthians.

Earlier Jadson hit the target for the hosts from a set piece that flew into the top corner.

The Brazilian outfit are now six points clear of Group 2 with two matches remaining in the competition's first phase. Danubio are last having yet to win a point.

In Wednesday's only other match, defending champions San Lorenzo defeated Sao Paulo 1-0 in Buenos Aires. Endi
