Mui Ne beach in C. Vietnam rated among best beaches in Asia-Pacific

Xinhua, April 2, 2015 Adjust font size:

Mui Ne beach in Vietnam's central coastal Binh Thuan province, about 1,150 km south of capital Hanoi, has been rated by the Global travel website Skyscanner as one of the 12 most beautiful beaches in Asia-Pacific region.

Mui Ne, ranked 10th, is for those who love the heady contrast of excitement and relaxation, and is ideal for wind-surfing, kite- surfing and all sorts of physical activities thanks to strong winds, big waves, and clear skies, local Tuoi Tre (Youth) News quoted Skyscanner as saying on Thursday.

The site has some dramatic and unusual scenery: giant sand dunes like a piece of desert next to the sea, and perfect for dune- trekking.

In 2014, Mui Ne was ranked second in the list of 11 most beautiful beaches in Southeast Asia by the travel guide Canadian Travellers.

In the first two months of 2015, Binh Thuan province welcomed over 711,000 visitors, including 91,250 foreign arrivals mostly from Russia, Germany, Britain, the United States, Australia, France and Sweden, and many of them toured Mui Ne, according to the local tourism agency. Endi
