Sustainable development is the top important goal in today's world, parliamentarians said here Tuesday in an Inter- Parliamentary Union (IPU) session.

YANGON -- Peace negotiators of the Myanmar government and ethnic armed groups issued a joint statement here Tuesday, saying the finalized nationwide ceasefire agreement (NCA) will be submitted to the top level of respective sides for adoption before it is formally signed.

According to the statement, the government's Union Peace-Making Work Committee (UPWC) is to forward the NCA to the Union Peace- Making Central Committee, while the ethnic armed groups' Nationwide Ceasefire Coordination Team (NCCT) is to submit it to the leaders of respective armed groups. SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir -- Authorities on Tuesday said 15 bodies have been recovered from mud and debris of a house hit by landslides in Indian-controlled Kashmir.

"Until now 15 dead bodies have been recovered and one body is yet to be retrieved," Syed Basharat Bukhari, a minister in local government said, adding, "Efforts are on to retrieve the body out of the debris." (India-Kashmir-Landslide)
