China revises current account surplus in Q4, 2014

China on Tuesday revised its current account surplus in the fourth quarter in 2014 to 411 billion yuan (67.4 billion U.S. dollars) from the preliminary figure of 375 billion yuan.

The deficit under the capital and financial account was trimmed to 187 billion yuan from the initial estimate of 559 billion yuan, data from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange show.

In 2014, the surplus under the current account reached 1.35 trillion yuan, while the capital and financial account surplus was 232 billion yuan.

The country's international reserve assets rose by 720.9 billion yuan in 2014. Endi
