China stocks open higher Tuesday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.96 percent to open at 3,822.99.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 13,420.92, up 1.73 percent.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 0.17 percent higher at 2,294.32 points. Endi
