Botswana national soccer team coach Peter Butler is confident of a victory when his side takes on Mozambique's Mambas in an international friendly match late Sunday afternoon.
The Zebras host the Mambas in the town of Lobatse, 70km south of the capital Gaborone for the friendly tie. Butler told the media on Sunday morning that he will give a lot of youngsters a chance against Mozambique and he had confidence in them that they will do well.
"We have been working hard in training this week, I have a lot of good youngsters and I will give them a chance against Mozambique," he said.
The coach revealed his starting line-up on Sunday morning with a couple of new faces who will be marking their debuts in national team colors. Among those is goalkeeper Goitseone Phoko of local side Gaborone United who has received the call up following a string of good performances in the local league.
Youngsters Mosha Gaolaolwe, Katlego Koobake and Tapiwa Gadibolae have been trusted with manning the backline, where the only experienced player is fullback Obuile Ncenga. Experienced midfielder Ofentse Nato makes the return to the team after a self imposed exile in 2013.
The midfielder just returned to Botswana after a successful campaign in the inaugural India Premier League (IPL), which he won with Athletico De Kolkata. Butler has opted to start with skipper Joel Mogorosi and veteran Mogogi Gabonamong on the bench. Endi
