China stocks open higher Monday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.53 percent to open at 3,710.61.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 12,917.14, up 0.33 percent.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 0.19 percent lower at 2,319.31 points. Endi
