Australian relatives of Germanwings victims to visit crash site

Xinhua, March 30, 2015 Adjust font size:

The relatives of the Australian victims of the Germanwings disaster said they will visit the crash site in the French Alps on Monday to pay their final respects.

Malcolm Coram's sister, Carol Friday, and nephew, Greig Friday, died almost a week ago when co-pilot Andreas Lubitz apparently deliberately crashed the Germanwings Airbus A320 into the side of a mountain killing 150 people.

Coram told local media that when they arrive at the small French village Le Vernet they'll lay flowers at the special memorial erected for those who died last Tuesday when flight 4U9525 from Barcelona didn't reach Duesseldorf.

He said Carol's husband, Dave, and the couple's daughter, Alex, were not traveling to France. Endi
