12 killed in traffic accident in SE Turkey

Twelve people were killed and five others injured in a traffic accident in Sanliurfa province of southeastern Tureky on Sunday, private Dogan news agency reported.

One car and one minibus collided with a truck in a highway around Yenice District of Sanliurfa province on Sunday afternoon, leaving four people dead in the scene immediately, said the report.

Eight people died in hospital after they were taken to the hospital for treatment, added the report.

An investigation into the accident was underway, said the report. Endit
