Former Party official in N China under investigation

Chen Gui, a former party official in a city in north China's Hebei Province, is being investigated for alleged serious law and discipline violations, according to Hebei's anti-graft authority.

The discipline inspection commission under the provincial committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) confirmed on Saturday that Chen, former chief of the Hengshui City Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), was under investigation.

Chen was removed from his post in 2010, but the details of his violations have not been made public yet. Endi
