USA beat Canada 4-2 at women's hockey worlds

Jocelyne Lamoureux, Kacey Bellamy and Kendall Coyne scored power-play goals in the first period to help the United States beat Canada 4-2 Saturday in Pool A at the women's hockey world championships.

Hilary Knight added a third-period goal to secure the United States

victory. Brianne Jenner and Jennifer Wakefield scored for Canada.

In the other Pool A game, Finland beat Russia 3-2 in a shootout.
