1st LD: 30 injured in coach crash in west Scotland: report

Thirty people were injured, five of them seriously, in a coach crash on Thursday on the west coast of Scotland, Sky TV news reported.

The road accident took place at about 2:10 p.m. local time (1410 GMT) in Argyll, a region of western Scotland, said the report.

Twenty-five of those injured were described as "walking wounded", while five were said to be in a serious condition. Police Scotland said 35 people were on board the coach, it added.

Search and rescue helicopters were helping police and emergency services. Enditem
