Authorities investigate graft case of former Shanghai official

A procuratorate in Shanghai has launched a graft investigation into a former district official, local authorities said Wednesday.

Chen Hongfei, former deputy secretary of the disciplinary inspection commission of Jiading District, is suspected of "serious disciplinary and legal violations," according to Shanghai Pudong New District People's Procuratorate.
