1st LD Writethru: Suicide bombing kills 6, wounds 31 in Kabul

A suicide bombing that rocked Kabul city on Wednesday killed six people and injured 31 others, Kabul Police Chief Abdul Rahman Rahimi said. "A terrorist riding explosive-laden car blew himself up in the second police district leaving six people dead including himself and 31 others injured," Rahimi told reporters at the site of the blast.

All the victims are civilians, the official said.

In the violent incident which happened at 05:15 p.m. local time, a number of shops, cars and buildings around were also damaged.

The blast occurred at Murad Khani area, a locality near Presidential Palace, Defense Ministry, Finance Ministry, the central Bank and Ministry for Justice.

No groups or individual has claimed responsibility for the bombing. Endi
