Russian oil shipped via Kozmino port reaches 100 mln tons

Xinhua, March 25, 2015 Adjust font size:

Oil shipped via Russian Far East oil port Kozmino reached 100 million tons by Tuesday.

The majority of oil exported through Kozmino, a special oil port run by state-owned oil company Transneft, goes to China, Japan and South Korea, said Transneft Vice President Sergey Andronov.

China-bound oil accounts for a third of the port's oil export, he said.

Kozmino is an important hub of oil export to Asia-Pacific markets. Thirty million tons of crude oil was shipped in 2014 alone. Endi
