Hungary's ice dancers expect career peak in 2022 Olympic Games

Xinhua, March 25, 2015 Adjust font size:

Hungary's Caroline Moscheen and Adam Lukacs, who are making their debut at the ISU Figure Skating World Championships, expect a career peak in the 2022 Winter Games.

Moscheen and Lukacs, both 18, in their first senior world championships here, danced to the music Paso Doble in their ice dance short program on Wednesday.

"We really find the audience and the atmosphere so good here," said Moscheen, who finished 15th at the 2015 European Championships.

"It's our first time in China and first time compete in senior world championships," she said. "It's a very good feeling."

As Beijing is bidding for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the young pair seem optimistic about the Chinese city's chance.

"I think Beijing can hold the Winter Olympic Games very well as they have already hosted an amazing summer Olympic Games," said Lukacs. "I am looking forward to it."

"I think the 2018 Games, for us, is like a beginning," said Moscheen. "So I hope we will be at our best in 2022." Endi
