Chinese stocks close mixed Wednesday

Chinese stocks ended mixed on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.83 percent, or 30.68 points, to finish at 3,660.73 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index dipped 0.34 percent, or 44.11 points, to close at 12,757.1 points.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, gained 1.15 percent, or 27.05 points, to end at 2,385.01 points. Endi
