Singapore's former prime minister Lee Kuan Yew has weakened further, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said on Sunday.

NEW DELHI -- A massive fire broke out on Sunday afternoon at the Indian Parliament's huge compound, said local media reports.

The fire apparently came from the compound's tower station, causing huge smoke at the scene and a fire emergency at the Rasina Hill which leads from the parliament building to the presidential palace and some key government ministry offices. (India-Fire- Parliament Compound)

COLOMBO -- Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena on Sunday formed a national government by uniting with the opposition, an official said here.

The president in a sudden swearing in ceremony appointed eleven new cabinet Ministers, five state ministers and ten deputy ministers at a event held at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo, on Sunday afternoon. (Sri Lanka-Coalition Government)

TOKYO -- About 14,000 people took to the streets on Sunday afternoon in Tokyo to express opposition to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's policies over rights to collective self-defense, nuclear reactors restart and relocation plan of U.S.military bases within Okinawa.
