James Harden leads Rockets past Nuggets

The Houston Rockets' guard James Harden scored a career-high 50 points to lead the team to a 118-108 win over the Denver Nuggets Thursday night at Toyota Center.

Harden made 12 of 27 shots, and 22 of 25 free throws, adding 10 rebounds to his career-high score. It was the 29th game with at least 30 points and seventh with 40 this season for Harden, who entered the game second in NBA scoring.

Trevor Ariza added 17 points while Pat Beverley and Terrence Jones had 10 apiece for Houston. Wilson Chandler and Randy Foye scored 23 points each for the Nuggets, who dropped to 0-4 against Houston this season. Endi
