Russia will fulfill all its obligations as a host of the 2018 FIFA World Cup to make it the "world's best", Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.

"Russia has been preparing for the World Cup and all the obligations Russia has taken as the championship's organizer are being implemented and will be fulfilled on time," Peskov said.

Preparations for the event require implementation of about 300 infrastructure projects in 11 host cities. Besides, 20 more cities were involved in visitors' accommodation service program.
