Urgent: Gold up slightly despite stronger dollar

Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange rose Friday on profit- taking, despite a much stronger dollar.

The most active gold contract for April delivery rose 0.5 U.S. dollar, or 0.04 percent, to settle at 1,152.40 dollars per ounce. Enditem
