China to be best presented at Milan Expo 2015: Sala

Xinhua, March 13, 2015 Adjust font size:

Milan Expo commissioner Giuseppe Sala has said that China would be the best presented country at the upcoming 2015 Milan World Expo.

Sala said China will build three pavilions at the fair, including a national one, as well as other two buildings created by Vanke and Chinese companies.

"We estimate at least one million Chinese visitors would come to the fair," Sala forecasted.

According to the event's organizing committee, 500,000 tickets have been sold in China, but it expects three times that number of Chinese visitors during the five-month event.

Visitors from all over the world would have the chance to explore 53 country pavilions, nine clusters and some theme-based pavilions.

"Considering that a visit will last 6-7 hours a day, it will not be enough to see everything in a single day," Sala said.

Milan Expo, scheduled to take place in the Italian business capital from May 1 to Oct. 31, 2015, is expected to attract over 20 million visitors. Endit
